Donations for Non-profit Organizations

Business Purpose: Give people who support the organization a simple and secure way to donate online.  The donation facility allows the organization to use their public appearances, events, and press releases as a means to drive people to the site and collect their donations.

What we do: Our Time2Donate Web/Database component provides an easy way to link the donation form, and credit card acceptance software to an existing site.

Examples:

Tri-City Eagles (http://www.tricityeagles.org/) is a non-profit, Maryland Hockey club dedicated helping young people develop as athletes, leaders, and productive members of the community through a competitive hockey program that stresses excellence, commitment, self-sacrifice, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  The club has enjoyed stunning success. The NHL awarded the Eagles an A.S.S.I.S.T. grant and the club sent five teams to USA Hockey Nationals.  The Eagles Web site uses Time2’s Time2Donate system to allow its supporters to make donations securely and easily online.

Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church (http://www.ucrbaptist.org/index.htm) in Baldwin, Maryland is a thriving congregation with roots dating back to the post World War I period when many people moved to Maryland and Pennsylvania from western North Carolina and southern Virginia. Upper Cross has been growing and expanding since it built its first church in 1928.  The congregation is once again expanding to provide more room for Sunday school, Awanas, and has initiated another building program. The church’s site uses Time2’s Time2Donate system to allow its members to make online contributions to its building fund and to purchase “bricks” with a commemorative inscription, which contributors can enter online.

Register clients for Classes and Events

Business Purpose: Give the organization's customers an easy way to register for classes and events. The customer gains an added convenience and the company reduces its administrative overhead in answering phones and taking payments manually.

What we do: Our Time2Signup Web/Database component allows company staff to define a series of classes, or a special event. Customers can then sign-up and pay for the class or event online.

Our Payment components take customer’s credit card payments for events and our mass-email system allows Gardens marketing staff to follow-up events with newsletters and renewal emails. Rink Magazine featured the Gardens’ Web site in their January 2004 edition and concluded, “Suffice it to say that we feel the Web designers scored a hat trick with the site and it serves as a great reflection of what is a superb facility”.

Harford County Farm Fair (http://www.farmfair.org/) is a showcase for Harford County government, the business community, families, and individuals while it supports of 4-H, FFA and the education of the Harford County community regarding the importance of agriculture. The Fair uses our Time2Signup component to register vendors and visitors online, and to take payments for registration fees.  This example shows that because our Web components are already developed, packaged, and tested, it is practical and cost effective to use them, even for an annual event.

What we do: We provide complete development services, including Logical Database design, Web Site design, programming (ASP.NET, SQL Server), and hosting.  Customers gain easy access to the company's business system, 24 hours per day, sever days, per week, from anywhere in the world.  The company gains the efficiency of automated sales and electronic orders (which it can feed directly into other business systems).

Examples:

Taylor Technologies (founded in Baltimore in 1930) is one of America's leading manufacturers of products for analyzing water chemistry on-site. Taylor supplies nearly 700 different test-kit configurations, with options for wet- and dry-chemistry methods as well as microprocessor-based instruments. Taylor is a knowledge intensive business. Our database-driven Web site gives Taylor’s customers an easy and effective way to get technical information, including product descriptions, Materials Safety Data Sheets, instructions, and potential interferences.

The Noe Pond Club is a member-owned, non-profit family swim club that provides a unique family club atmosphere with quality activities, incomparable instructional programs, and a beautiful facility that cultivates fun, learning, friendships, and lasting memories for people of all ages.  Our Web/Database system allows Noe Pond's staff people to record members’ charges for services, and provides a back end system that generates invoices and statements, for service charges and dues. Time2’s Service organization provides customer service and does the mailings.

Austin Junior Volleyball is a Non-Profit youth organization that hosts junior volleyball teams. Austin Juniors has established two nationally recognized tournaments: The Lone Star Classic and the 3rd Coast Volleyball Championships.   Like many other Volleyball organizations, Austin Junior Volleyball, runs its tournaments, using TIVA (Time2's Internet Volleyball Application).  TIVA supports the following functions: Membership Registration, Event Registration, Hotel Reservations, Online Payment, Renewals, Customer Service, and Event Operation activities such as scheduling and scoring tournament matches.  TIVA is the central product delivery system for the entire organization.
